A singleton ServerSettings (title, descriptions, contact, thumbnail, privacy policy, terms, rules, relays, media
overrides, PublishActivity), cached by InstanceSettings and read by the instance API, NodeInfo, the instance actor, the
web pages and the mailer; its defaults are the old literals, so nothing changes until an administrator edits.
/clientapi/admin/settings (and /thumbnail), /announcements, /relays for administrators; /clientapi/moderator/log, the
staff's log (AdminAction, written by domain blocks, backups, settings and the CLI; no IP, never a root paired with its
personas). The Mastodon API's rules, extended description, privacy policy, terms of service, domain blocks (Published,
Obfuscate), announcements (dismiss, reactions, streaming) and activity (only when published). Reports carry rule ids.
Media overrides clamped to hard caps. Relays named by the settings reconcile next to the configured ones.
Verified: interop.sh instance accounts relay with mastodon, relay, aoderelay and mailpit, 119 passed.

Completion program R4 (the client catching up), the server's part.
- /clientapi/admin/statistics/hosts/{host}, /events and /server answer typed views (ViewHostDetail, ViewHostInstance,
ViewHostDay, ViewInteractionEvent, ViewServerDay in ClientModels) instead of an anonymous object and raw entities:
the instance's public description, never its raw instance API document; the events without their actor hash. The
JSON names stay, so lib/interop.sh's stats_check reads them as before.
- DELETE /api/v1/media/{id} (Mastodon 4.4): a persona's own upload goes to the trash while nothing holds it; a posted
or scheduled one answers 422.
- GET /api/v1/accounts?id[]= (Mastodon 4.3): up to 40 accounts, those that exist.
- /api/v2/search's hashtags carry their week of use (TagsController.History), not an empty history.
Verified: dotnet build PrivaPub.sln -c Release; the pasture: gts 64/64 (statistics included); by hand, an unattached
upload deleted (then 404), a posted one refused (422), accounts by ids, a hashtag's history.

- A Warn from a community's moderator about a persona's own post there becomes that persona's moderation_warning
notification (Mastodon's AccountWarning, with the reason and the post), believed from the community's own server or
from an account the community's moderators collection lists. Remote communities keep that collection's address
(attributedTo) as ForeignAvatar.ModeratorsURL; it is read only when a warning needs it.
- A Resolve{Flag} for one of our reports (`/grunts/flag-<report id>`) is kept as the report's remote resolution when it
comes from the server holding what was reported, or the community it was reported to; our own moderators'
resolution is never replaced. The moderators' report list shows both.

/clientapi/admin/backups (owner decision 2026-10-07, approving these endpoints in production): the list with what runs,
the restore waiting and the last restore's report; back up now; delete; a download for the password, through a ticket
good for ten minutes in the link's path, as one tar whose length is known first and which honours Range (BackupTar);
an upload in pieces of at most 32 MB, each at the offset already received or refused with it, so a broken upload
resumes, read into a backup only when it holds nothing but plain files under one backup's folder; and a restore for
the password and the host typed out. Every call checks the administrator against the database. nginx streams downloads
for an hour and takes upload pieces unbuffered, rate-limited.

MediaAttachment.Size was stored and never summed: nobody, the administrator included, could tell what media took,
and nothing bounded it. Counted.Media and MediaOfRoot sum what is kept (not trashed). A login sees what its personas'
uploads and pictures take at /clientapi/user/storage (ViewStorage), with its quota when the server sets one;
Media:QuotaBytesPerRoot (0, no quota, by default) refuses an upload or a picture over it with 422, whichever persona
sends it; the statistics overview gains the media totals, the proxy cache and the trash (ViewMediaTotals). Tests: a
login's storage counts what its personas keep and forgets what is trashed; two uploads from two personas of one login
are refused together past the quota.

The moderators' reports and the admin statistics (overview, hosts,
crawler) were anonymous objects, so a client could read them only as loose
JSON. They are now ViewReport, ViewStatisticsOverview, ViewHostsPage and
ViewCrawler in PrivaPub.ClientModels, with the same JSON as before, for
decePub's Administration page.

DomainBlock (domain, severity, reject-media, public and private comment)
covers the domain and its subdomains. Admins manage them under
/clientapi/admin/domainblocks/{list,insert,delete}; the set is kept in
memory, reloaded on every change and at most five minutes stale.
A suspended domain is refused by FederationHttp.IsAllowed, so nothing is
fetched from it and no job delivers to it, and the inbox drops its
activities with a 202 before fetching any key. Reject-media strips the
attachments of posts from that domain. Silence is recorded for the
timelines and notifications that arrive in P1.2.
